2.73. Any affected occupational health staff and the client should be made aware,
and the allocated resources should remain sufficient to meet the agreed needs
of the client.
Contractual terms
2.74. Occupational health professionals should scrutinise carefully the wording of
contracts. It is not uncommon for contracts to contain requirements which may
be lawful, but which are unethical (e.g. permitting inappropriate managerial
access
to
health
records).
In
general,
contracts
(contractual
obligation) shouldn't conflict legal and ethical duties of healthcare
professionals.
